About PanelDaemon
PanelDaemon is a free web based Microsoft Windows Service Applications manager. PanelDaemon
is written in ASP.NET and C#. It is designed to run under IIS. It can be used in conjunction with
FireDaemon.
It is released under the terms of the GPL. If you don't want to deploy IIS, you might want to take a look at FireDaemon Trinity.

- Internet Information Services 5.1 on Windows XP Pro
- Internet Information Services 6 on Windows Server 2003
- Internet Information Services 7 on Windows Vista or Server 2008 (requires IIS6 Compatibility features)
- .NET Framework 2.0 or later
- 2MB of free disk space
- 64MB of RAM

Basic Installation Instructions
- Make sure you are logged in as Administrator (or equivalent)
- Make sure your administrative account has a password set
- Install and secure IIS as per Users Guide
- Install the .NET 2.0 Framework
- Make sure you have run Windows Update and applied all service packs and critical updates
- Download the setup MSI
- Double click setup MSI and follow the installation instructions
- Once installation has completed, point your browser at http://hostname/PanelDaemon_v1.5 and login using the Admin username and password you assigned during installation
- To create/manage user accounts point your browser at http://hostname/PanelDaemon_v1.5/Admin/
